Lagrein is a red wine grape variety native to the valleys of Northern Italy.
The 2021 Bremerton Lagrein has aromas of dark fruit and spice with the palate showing hints of Dark bitter chocolate and plum with an earthy edge and undertones of aniseed. The palate is complemented by fine long tannins.
We have matured this wine for 18 months in barriques and this has provided a balanced and excellent example of this variety.

SERVE
The rich flavours of Lagrein match well with red meat or robust entrées.
