Our long term sustainable vision has seen us experimenting with making wine without preservatives for a number of years. This has resulted in this second release of Shiraz with no added preservative.
The wine is rich and ripe with a concentrated plum fruit core and a silky texture. The fruit was picked from our Langhorne Creek vineyard, after fermenting in open top fermenters, the wine was pressed to oak and aged on lees for 4 months. The natural concentration of anthocyanin (colour) helps preserve this fresh and vibrant wine. Selected barrels were carefully gravity racked to blend then sent to bottle young to capture the vibrancy.
