The wine is a great example of how these two Spanish varieties complement each other. Berry, dark rose and spice notes frame the palate in a medium weight, juicy wine. It is well balanced and supported by fine tannins and structural acid.
The wine was fermented in open top vessels to gently extract varietal flavor, perfume and natural elegant tannin. It was matured for 17 months in a combination of 2nd and 3rd fill French and American oak barriques
VARIETY
70% Tempranillo 30% Graciano
CELLARING
A beautifully balanced medium bodied wine- it is made to be enjoyed at anytime, but we do believe with its fine tannins that it will age elegantly
SERVE
The obvious food pairing is anything Spanish—tapas, or Paella—yum!
